Bohem Cigar No.1

The lightest edition of KT&G’s Bohem Cigar line from South Korea — a king-size filter cigarette blended with about 30% genuine cigar leaf, so you get a cigar-style aroma in an everyday smoke. Not a real cigar and not a cigarillo. At just 1 mg tar it is an ultra-light, exceptionally smooth draw carrying a quiet, slightly sweet note of vanilla, nut and mellow cigar warmth.

Smoker · Cultural Notes

How Chinese smokers talk about it — impressions and culture, not official claims.

How smokers describe it

Entry

Soft, clean and very light from the first draw, with almost no throat bite — exactly what a 1 mg stick promises. The cigar leaf shows up early as a gentle sweetness, a faint vanilla edge over clean tobacco.

Mid

A smooth, mellow middle where the cigar aroma settles in — a quiet warmth with a touch of nut rather than a big, bold flavour. Light smokers call it clean and characterful; heavier smokers find the body plainly thin for a full session.

Finish

Short, clean and faintly sweet, closing without harshness. Some love the restrained cigar scent; others feel it leans a little perfumed. We’d rather you knew that going in than oversell a 1 mg smoke.

the everyday of it

Bohem Cigar was KT&G’s answer to a neat question: could you put real cigar tobacco into an everyday cigarette? Launched in 2007 in just two strengths — No.1 and No.6 — it blends around 30% genuine cigar leaf into a king-size filter stick and dresses it in vintage, bohemian packaging. No.1 is the original light end of that idea: the gentlest, most aromatic-but-restrained version, the one Korean smokers often describe as the most honest and balanced of the range. It is a cigarette that borrows a cigar’s scent, not a cigar that has been shrunk — and that is exactly its charm.

gifting

A novelty and curiosity more than a gift tier. No.1 is the accessible, everyday light of the Bohem family, so it works best as something characterful to try or to share with a fellow smoker who likes aromatic tobacco, rather than as a face-giving present. For a Bohem gift with more weight, the line points up to Cigar Master and the 100%-cigar-leaf Signature. Where No.1 truly lands is daily smoothness: an easy, pleasantly cigar-scented stick for someone who wants lightness first.

Smoker terminology

Cigar leaf — Genuine cigar tobacco blended into the cigarette — about 30% in No.1 — which gives the smoke its cigar-style aroma without making it an actual cigar.

No.1 / No.3 / No.6 — The Bohem Cigar strength ladder — 1, 3 and 6 mg tar. No.1 is the lightest and smoothest rung.

Telling the versions apart

Mind which Bohem you order. No.1 is the lightest, capsule-free, 1 mg edition; the range also runs No.3 and No.6, plus higher-leaf editions like Cigar Master and the 100%-cigar-leaf Signature, and several capsule siblings. No.1’s 1 mg tar / 0.1 mg nicotine blend, the 84 mm king format and the 30% cigar leaf are the constant for this one.

Good to know

Is this a real cigar?

No. It is a king-size filter cigarette blended with about 30% genuine cigar leaf, so it carries a cigar-style aroma — but it smokes and is sold as a cigarette, not a cigar or cigarillo.

Is it a strong cigarette?

The opposite — it’s the lightest Bohem at 1 mg tar / 0.1 mg nicotine. It’s prized for smoothness; heavier smokers usually find it too thin to satisfy a craving.

What does it actually taste like?

A very clean, smooth draw with a quiet, slightly sweet cigar aroma — a faint vanilla and nut over mellow tobacco. Light and aromatic rather than bold.

Does it have a flavour capsule?

No. The No.1 edition has no capsule — the sweetness comes from the cigar leaf and wrapper, not a popper. Some other Bohem editions do add a capsule.

How do I know it’s genuine?

Scan the small-pack barcode 8801116001279 before opening the carton — it should return this exact Bohem Cigar No.1 edition, with the Korean health warning and seals intact.

How does it ship?

Tracked, in plain unmarked outer packaging. Import duty and personal-import limits are your responsibility and vary by country; if a tracked parcel is seized, our reship terms apply.
