Yuxi Binguo Capsule Slim — Watermelon (玉溪细支缤果爆)

Here is exactly what you are buying. A thin 90 mm slim from Yuxi, the premium name out of Yunnan. One watermelon capsule sits in the filter. Smoke it plain and you get a soft, slightly sweet flue-cured taste. Pinch the bead and you get a cool burst of melon that rides the rest of the stick. It stays mild the whole way through — the capsule is there for flavour, not for a hit. So be clear about who this is for: a light smoker who wants a flavour switch, not someone hunting strength. Read the label honestly too. Low tar on a vented slim just means it measures low on a machine, not that it is any safer for you — cover the tiny filter holes with your fingers and you pull in more than the number says. Flavour capsules are also restricted in the EU and the UK, so treat this as a China-market stick that simply does not exist on shelves there. And check the barcode on the pack yourself before you trust it.

How it smokes

The details

Where it comes from

[“Yuxi is Hongta’s top line, named after the Yunnan city where it is made. Yunnan grows the leaf behind a lot of China’s premium tobacco, and Yuxi has leaned on that clean, flue-cured reputation for years. Straight, unflavoured, understated — serious cigarettes for people who wanted the leaf to speak. That was the brand for a long time.”, “The Binguo Capsule line is the newer and lighter move. It arrived in 2025 chasing the fruit-capsule trend, built into a slim body with a bead of watermelon tucked in the filter. Smokers started calling it the ‘watermelon Yuxi’ almost straight away. It swaps the old seriousness for something fresher and more casual, pitched at people who want a flavour switch they can flick themselves rather than a traditional draw. Think of it as Yuxi relaxing its collar, not Yuxi reinventing its tobacco.”, ‘One thing to keep in mind as a buyer abroad: this is squarely a domestic-China product. It is priced and sold for that market, it carries Chinese-market tar and nicotine figures, and the fruit-capsule format is exactly the kind of thing regulators overseas have moved against. That is not a knock on the cigarette — it is just why you will not see it on a shelf in London or Berlin, and why you should treat anything you receive as an import and check it like one.’]
