Where it comes from
Nano is The King’s ultra-slim line from KT International, the big independent tobacco house out of Plovdiv, Bulgaria, and a regular fixture on the travel-retail shelf. The line is built around a nano-diameter rod — thinner than an ordinary super-slim — for people who want the slim shape and the slower, lighter burn that comes with it. The format has a long, loyal following across Eastern Europe and East Asia, where a narrow cigarette is a style of its own rather than a watered-down version of a regular one, and Nano pushes that shape about as thin as it goes. Black sits at the top of the line’s strength scale, the fullest-bodied nano in the set, made so that choosing a thin cigarette doesn’t have to mean choosing a faint one — it is the one to pick if slim smokes usually leave you reaching for a second.
